THIS WEEKS UNDISCOVERED TUNE

Marbert Rocel - Small Hours

Trio Marbert Rocel have been releasing quirky tracks since 2004. It's their Jazz/House hybrid that has got the German band recognised. Their track 'Small Hours' taken from their most recent album of the same name has hit the set lists of many djs trying to create that calm and chilled out atmosphere that we all love. The threesome have worked hard on this track thinking about its minimal melody to mix in with the bass and drum beats to get your body moving. The voice of Antje Seifarth sends chills of joy down your spine. Her vocals along with the sax of Robert Krause leaves the track feeling fresh. The best point of the track is near the end when all parts of the piece can all be heard but the enjoyment is getting there. Enjoy their track and if you like this you may want to check out music from Crazy P.

Undiscovered Chart July Part 1

Hey Everyone,

Since my last blog I have been to Hideout Festival (Croatia) for one of the best weekends of my life! I got to see Erol Alkan, Jackmaster, Eats Everything, Bowski and Claude Von Stroke on a boat on the Adriatic Seas! To then see acts like Doorly, Damian Lazarus, Jack Beats, Soul Clap all smash it. Sun, Boats, Djs, Beers, Babes, Beaches and the best atmosphere I've experienced for a long while I would advise anyone to check it out next year.

As for the chart I have got a mountain of tracks with lots of different vibes Disco, Indie, Hip Hop... You will find tracks in this weeks chart that sample Ice Cube, Kanye West and Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth so look out for those!

I've had a few new members on my Facebook page and it's great to see your interest and support!

Yet again for those of you who haven't joined be sure to check out our Facebook page at -http://www.facebook.com/groups/undiscoveredbeats were you can post new tracks that you are aware of and who knows you could get a mention!

THIS WEEKS UNDISCOVERED TUNE

DJ Tennis - The Outcast (feat. PillowTalk)

Dj Tennis deuces with Pillow Talk to ace into number one spot! This track is so retro and never seems to tire. The soft melodies combine with the dreamy lyrics to create the ultimate anthem for everyone with love for house music. I'd like to thank Soul Clap for playing this to the sunrise at Hideout Festival and for letting me know the name of the track on Facebook! If you like this I'd advise checking out Pillow Talks other stuff "Love Makes Parks" in particular.

If like me you are dying to have this track in your collection you can download Soul Claps 4 hour set here http://new.official.fm/tracks/xyXY and set your iTunes to play the track at 02:05:46 and it will do for the meantime! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. (There are no video's with the song in it so watch Soul Clap do it some justice with this video from Hideout!
