Ready for a new addition of your favourite chart? This month seen loads of great releases and there are some great tracks here to update that iPod of yours! So you know the score... I will be coming up with a top 10 list of the best new productions and giving you all an insight as to ones that just missed out (in our "Close but no Pineapple" section).
This month we had some good suggestions from Gavin Murray again on our social house music group. I love the Duke Dumont track still that made it to number 11 in the Undiscovered Last Quarter chart last month. $100 Bill - Benoit & Sergio
This month we congratulate Benoit and Sergio as they take the top spot and treat us to this brilliant summer track. "$100 Bill" has a real 80's vibe making you think of Miami Palm trees and attractive people dancing in the sun and THE SUMMER! Which will be with us soon!
It starts with a simple drum beat, we then hear a crazy catchy manipulated vocal that changes in pitch which accompanies the track all the way through. "A $100 billfold in my back pocket and I've already forgot that I've got a girlfriend because these tastes is long but the night is young, young young, YOUNG YOUNG, YOUNG, YOUNG, YOUNG YOUNG!" As soon as the plucking melody drops in you can't do anything but dance. Definitely going to be on everyones summer playlists!
