Undiscovered Beats June 2013 Chart

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for being patient with me. I've had a lot going on this month including PARKLIFE FESTIVAL! In Manchester! What a weekend! Got to see some amazing acts including Maceo Plex, Lee Foss, Bondax, Julio Bashmore, Jurassic 5, Benoit and Sergio among many others... But more importantly for you the Undiscovered Beats chart is BACK! I have a month and half worth of amazing tunes so make sure you can listen to as many as possible.

Dirty Projectors - The Socialites (Joe Goddard Remix)



So Joe Goddard Strikes again! First and Third in this weeks chart! From the first note of his remix of The Socialites we hear "Oh Baby" and we get certification that we are set to hear some amazing vocals. The warm earthy feel of the percussion and the bouncy xylophone styled melody compliment the vocals really well. The best part is either the first intense build up (about 2 minutes in) where her intensity is matched with brilliantly placed lazers or when the track is stripped back to bascis and we just hear that exotic melody. What a track!
